Dalvee was founded in 2017 when our award-winning chef, Seema Dalvi, decided to step away from her teaching career to follow her passion for becoming a chef. Seema became a personal chef and started a food delivery service and cookery lessons. She also used to cater for all events.
In 2020, Seema and her husband Krishna took the leap of faith to open Dalvee. This was a bold step for them, but their dedication and hard work have paid off. They transformed their routine catering company into something extraordinary.
Dalvee’s tagline is Atithi Devo Bhava, which means Guest is God!
Since our grand opening in July 2020, we’ve served contemporary Indian cuisine with a twist. Our fusion dishes and organic regional curry recipes from India and beyond have earned us numerous accolades, including Best Indian Restaurant in 2020, Lancashire’s Best Chef Award in 2019, Best Chef in Northwest 2023 as seen on BBC, and Good Food Awards in 2022 and 2023.
